The short version

TAG renames your video clips. Your videos stay on your computer and in your own storage. TAG never uploads or keeps them. We keep only what TAG needs to run your account, and we don't sell anything to anyone.

What TAG keeps

• Your account: your name, email, initials and the password you sign in with (handled by our sign-in service, Supabase).
• Your organization: its name, kind and logo, its members and their roles, and its teams and folders.
• Team pages: rosters, coaches and people, tags, rules, stats links, schedules and a short list of past games (date, opponent, clip count, who labeled it and a link to the Box folder).
• Settings: TAG Customization, Roles, and your own preferences, like footage types.
• Activity log: a list of changes in your organization, like invites and new teams, with who made them. Owners and admins see it. Kept for a year.
• Keys: if your organization adds its own Claude key, and if you connect Box, those are stored encrypted and only used to do what you ask.

What TAG doesn't keep

• Your video files. They're read in your browser, and renamed copies are saved to your computer or sent straight from your browser to your Box.
• The snapshots taken from each clip. They're sent to Claude to label that clip, and TAG doesn't save them. Clearing a game removes them from your browser too.

Services TAG uses

• Anthropic (Claude) labels each clip from a few snapshots plus your roster, people and notes for that game. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, this isn't used to train its models.
• Supabase stores your account and organization data.
• Vercel runs the website.
• Box, only if you connect it, receives the renamed clips you send there.
• ESPN public scores are read to help place clips in a game. Nothing about you is sent to ESPN.
• Resend sends TAG's emails, like invites and requests. It gets your email address and the message.
• Stripe will handle payments if TAG ever charges. TAG never sees card numbers.

Who can see your organization's data

Only people in your organization, based on the roles your owner sets. Things you add "just for me" are only seen by you.

Removing your data

Owners and admins can remove people, teams and past games at any time. To delete your whole account or organization, email us and we'll remove it.
